Post subject: FCEU Movies.

I'm sick of downloading AVI's from torrent, so I decided to get an FCEU movie instead, but now I can't figure out how to load the movie on the emulator. I know you need to have the original rom, but I don't know what menu yoyu need to go into to start the movie. Can someone help me out? Thanks in advance.

Open the ROM under "File -> Open". Then click "Replay" under "File" and open the .fcm-file, then click "Ok" and that should be it.

That would probably work, except that there is no replay option under file. Can anyone else help me? My version is 0.98.12, if that helps anyone.

It should be there. I checked that version too and if you have a ROM (game) loaded there should be three options there. *Records movie *Replay movie <--- this is the one you are looking for *Stop movie It should be there. If not I have no idea what the problem is.

You need the patched fceu to be able to play movies. Get it here.

To be honest, I don't doubt it, but I just don't understand what the problem is. It says that IE was unable to link to the Web Page I requested, but the thing is, I"M USING NETSCAPE!!!!!! So confusing... Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem that Leviticus is. I downloaded version 0.98.12 of FCE and loaded my ROM (zelda 2 in this case). When I go to file, these are the options: Open Close Recent Recent Directories Load State From Save State As Log Sound As Exit I tried to load my .fcm in 'Load State From', but its not happy with that at all. I'm assuming from the post that I need a patch for my player. I tried to follow the link for the 'patched fceu' from Tafatt. I tried in IE, firefox, Opera, Safari, and MyIE2. I tried these You can obtain it here: (ext) http://www.filespace.org/blip/fceu-0.98.12-blip.win.rar or the left+right version (ext) http://fast.filespace.org/Phil._Cote/fceu-left+right.zip Both have the same result in all the browsers, the page cannot be displayed. It appears I'm almost there, I just can't get that last step done. Does anyone have any suggestions, either that or a link that works?
