Submission Text Full Submission Page
Happy Pixel to you
no death all levels

Truncated: Hello ToniLawtan, and welcome to TASvideos!
This game is not too interesting as a speed run, but it could potentially be accepted in the Vault category, if it was played as fast as possible. However, there appears to be some possible improvements to this movie. Spikestuff commented on some of them in the discussion topic. The intro menu is not optimal, and the bosses could be killed quicker by more precise shooting. Also, there appears to be some lag when there are a lot of enemies on screen, which could possibly be avoided by killing the enemies quicker. For this reason, I am rejecting this movie.
Also, while not technically a requirement for the Vault category, the autoscrolling sections of the game could be a lot more interesting. For example, you could kill everything at the last second, not kill anything and just dodge (as long as this does not cause lag), or move the ship in interesting patterns. At times, this movie looks like a regular human playing it - firing blindly and missing shots, and letting some enemies get away.
fsvgm777: A translation of Truncated's rejection message to French follows:

This is about 38 seconds slower than #973: CtrlAltDestroy's NES 1943: The Battle of Midway in 1:15:53.78.
It is slower because this movie does not stop input until the ending has been shown. The final stage actually ends a bit earlier in this movie, than in the movie you linked.

Does 100% count as all levels for this game? Based on the submission text of the rejected submission that doesn't seem to be the case as well as being far too long. An encode would be nice.

Here's a "Light Fix" which ends at the earliest input end. I didn't verify with the game if it could be ended earlier. This is also to remove any headache for anyone questioning the time to the previous.

The previous run didn't use power ups. I know it's an autoscroller, but I find it suspect that only 50 seconds out of a 70 minute movie would be saved without that handicap.

Hi everyone, It's just possible to gain some time with the bosses. Power ups a lil bit usefull for the power (the 50s) but mainly for stopping the unbearable danger music :D when you coming under 20% of fuel. this is a 100% run if we don't consider the power amelioration.

Yea, I'm going to have to leave a couple of statements about this TAS. sigh Your starting input is unoptimal. Cannot be modified due to RNG. You go pacifist for certain parts, it's better to not go pacifist through this game. Your energy always returns to 64 you should have it at a higher number to save time when you complete a stage. Your fights are unoptimal like all hell. You can defeat Totaku much faster (and other ships)... which means... Your shooting is rubbish. Try again. Or don't... either one.

lol thanks for the review. Yes this is probably unoptimal but could you explain how to defeat the ships faster please? I don't see how I can do that.

Eh, let me just download the input for the fifty millionth time. Right, Simple explanation on your input about your shooting. At some points your shooting is this: B,B,B, ,B,B,B At other points your shooting looks like this: B,B, ,B,B, , ,B, , ,B,B Sometimes both. What it's meant to look like is this: B, ,B, ,B, ,B In other words rapid fire. Also I got it down to 270262 frames from the Light Fix. (Also managed to kill Totaku faster and not move right away from the ship. Instead I moved a bit left before killing the input and the ship.) But due to how suboptimal this is I am not going to bother fixing it up properly.
