Samurai Supirittsu Amakusa Kōrin is the fourth in SNK's flagship Samurai Shodown series of fighting games. Chronologically, is the second and final chapter of an interlude between Samurai Shodown and Samurai Shodown II, being Samurai Shodown III the first chapter...http://snk.wikia.com/wiki/Samurai_Shodown_IV
In this movie i choose to pick up Kazuki in Rasetsu mode. In this mode, his moveset contain a frame perfect finisher (2 frames to be exact)and a mashing buttons follow-up wich are very TAS friendly(his no contest move is also very fast).
I'm not going to describe all the fights, but you will find here some specific situation combos, damage abuse, AI manipulation, blood! ... No guard allowed, no damage and Kazukiburst, i haven't got a great room to work with, specially for glitch unfortunetly. (he has and infinite combo i don't use (only 2 rep sometimes) with 6CD combo)
As always, sorry for the frenglish...

ars4326: Judging!
ars4326: Hello, mamuuuut. This playaround really had some nice choreographed sequences, and contained a fair amount of variety throughout the various stages. From the combo-heavy emphasis on Jubei, to the deliberate beatdown on Charlotte, to the fatality-like finishing sequences on the final bosses, it was evident that much thought was placed into putting this one together. Nice work, all around!

Thank you very much fsvgm777 for the encode. This was a pure delight to watch. Some fights were really weird and had some sort of sexual innuendos like the fight at around 6:00. And we all like and need some sexual innuendos to ease off some steam right? amirite or what?! Easy yes vote and congratulations.

Thanks for the encode. This was pretty fun. Most of the time, the pace is good. There's variety and good visuals. I don't know Samurai Shodown well enough to understand the health meters, but I do like the style you showed. I admit, though, that I was confused by the behavior in the first Amakuza round (and the first round of the next fight). It seems like your character is scared of the boss and hides in the corner. If that was intended as comedy, I don't think I understood it very well. Nice effort though.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. That's just Youtube's reduction to 30 fps causing problems with things that blink.

Thanks a lot fsvgm777, fast and nice :) angerfist you are totally right ^^ For the bosses fight, it was to show how confused the AI can be sometimes (it can stay for a round doing anything). £e Nécroyeur : I use the japan bios cause the game is censored in other regions, you need to navigate more in the setting to activate violence, and i usually prefer play neo-geo games in japan. thx for the votes and feedbacks

For a playaround, I was expecting you to play multiple characters, similar to in the MK and SF playarounds on the site. Is this not possible within Shodown?

Radiant: so far as I'm aware, you have to lose a match to switch characters. Also, you have to beat the fights before the castle within a certain time after starting the game, or the Amakusa and Zankuro fights are skipped, because your rival (last fight of the game) takes care of them for you. This somewhat limits your options assuming you want to show the proper boss fights of the game. Speaking of which, Zankuro's first match was my favorite bit. Lots of quiet bits punctuated by sudden motions and counterattacks. The entire thing was pretty well put-together, though I do feel like Kazuki's instant-kill technique was a bit overused. Still easily enough for a yes vote; nice work! And thanks for the encode, fsvgm!

The rule on feeding extra coins is only meant to prevent abuse in games like the Metal Slug series (in some of them, using a continue gives you a Heavy Machinegun) or Captain America and The Avengers, where you can literally buy health in increments of 100 with coins.
