This is an improvement of 71 frames over the current movie.

Game objectives

  • Emulator used: Bizhawk 1.11.1
  • Aims for fastest time

Comments

This is my first finished TAS in Bizhwak. I had a lot of trouble with this emulator, and it's easier to understand how it works with simple games like this. The improvement comes from a different route in the second level, which is 70 frames faster, and 1 frame was saved from lag reduction, also in the second level.
I apologize dekutony & Weegeechan for submitting this just after their movie got published. If I were aware of this game before it, it would be a pleasure to work with you guys in this game :). Thanks for both of you for the previous movie!

ars4326: Hi, BrunoVisnadi. I've gotta say, that alternate, time-saving route on the second stage was quite clever! Going all the way up, and then back down on the other side, was not an obvious shortcut that I considered on the last submission. That just goes to show that even a tightly-optimized run can be improved upon with a fresh set of eyes. Nice work on obsoleting this one.
Accepting as an improvement to the published run!

Voting yes due to the improvement, but I think dekutony & Weegeechan should be co-authors in this run.

Ah, it's good to see our previous movie was obsoleted! I didn't feel the previous movie was optimized enough (it only had 575 rerecords) so I'm glad this movie will replace it. ;) So no need to apologize! I wouldn't bother making us co-authors either, but it's your choice. You started this movie from scratch and beat our time fair and square. I'm also really liking the new strategy you used for 100m. Good thinking doing all one side at the same time.
