I am currently in the process of creating a 100% TAS of Oddysee and my movie file is a few frames more than Dooty's file and it's about to hit the same time as his published movie even with the new tricks and glitches. Is it normal for an accurate emulator to go over time with a not so accurate emulator?

Ok. I have just done Scrabania in my current movie and so far my final time is expected to be 1:03:34! I had to make a few changes to some glitches because psxhawk doesn't like Abe to drop down from a roll in the Monsaic Lines. Is there anything different between my movie and the published movie? Might the loading times affect my movie time? I am advancing the movie frame by frame but I'm not so sure why I would be going over Dooty's time. http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/25977047053493947

Loading times in mednafen and (other emulator) positively differ, and are inaccurate in either case. I'm not sure what the politics here will be, that's not my department.
