Current situation: Playing a Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen hack on BizHawk 1.9.4. The problem with the hack is that it needed altering in the gamesdb file to get it to save, as described in http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16612 In the end it didn't work out and decided to use savestates instead of ingame saving. Currently i need to save the game to make progress but i'm stuck :( Right now i have 1 named savestate made on a newer version of BizHawk (1.11.3) and loaded it on 1.9.4. That savestate allows me to save ingame. Any other savestate reverts to the save error ingame. I have 1 named savestate from 1.9.4. loaded in 1.11.3 which gives the ingame save error. The error stays after resetting, unless i reboot the core. Since i lose progress in the game with that it's not an option. Possible solution: Found a video on youtube that changes a HEX value by looking up 03005004 in which I think is the BIOS domain. However, it is done inside a VBA emulator, not BizHawk. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=120&v=hIhAVH1yMG0 Tried searching for it, but can't find it inside BizHawk. So i think i need to edit some value with the hexeditor, but i have no clue which one or where to find it. Can anyone point me into the right direction? :)

Next time you need to save in-game, dont start playing the game while you can't save in-game. 03005004 isn't the BIOS, it's system bus, but it resides within IWRAM
