No. The rest open fine. Update: If I don't include movie_1 and movie_2 in the list the entire video opens up fine.

So there's something wrong with trying to change the resolution of that one file. What is its current resolution? Can you run the command on just it to resize it and it alone, and then work the resultant file into your encode? I would like to note that I am not an encoder, just a programmer trying to debug a user issue.

So ... do that, convert it to the desired resolution, and add it in where movie_2 currently is? Is that even a thing you can do?

It does but then I get the same error and movie_3 won't ressize properly when using the resize filter in virtualdub.

Do these files contain any gameplay footage or is it just the BIOS screen/opening titles? All you're doing is providing a temp encode, if unnecessary footage is tripping you up then just cut it from the script and go with what works.

Still get the error. The only way I can get it to work is just take out the ones that don't cause the error to show. I encoded using Largynth and the recommended setting to dump segmented AVI.

movie_3 is interlaced. Post a (link to the) picture of your PSX settings.

Get the newest version of bizhawk, set interlacing method to bob offset and dump all over again.

Ok. I dump a short snippet of the run using Camstudio codec, and used the other code from earlier and it works this time. But one prolem is the screen size on VirtualDub becomes huge. Update: The encode works much better with Camstudio lsoless codec.

Things that I have predicted in this entire topic. 1. Sam"tastic" is going to ignore 2 of us. feos and myself. 2. Sam"tastic" is going to create a post where he "figured it out" but then delete his post with something stupid. 3. Sam"tastic" is going to end up back to square one. 4. One of us is going to be misinformed. feos... yea... 5. Sam"tastic" will forget how to count twice. So, this turns out to be a waste of our time. Regardless, I'll requote myself and feos. Samtastic, if you don't respond to this one, we are done here.

It's common courtesy on the internet where, if you ask a bunch of people for help and then solve the problem, you post the solution you came up with to that forum so that future users searching for a solution to a similar problem don't have to ask the same question that you did. With that out of the way, I'm glad that you solved the issue.
