Fairly quick, linear GBC platformer. The music's not bad.
RTA in 13:08 is here.
Something else I discovered during my testing on the game: On the ice world (7:18 in the RTA), there is a section where the rhino has to lay down to go asleep for a while. It is possible at this place to jump and clip into the ceiling to potentially skip this sequence - but you get stuck in the wall and can't get out.
Another minor thing that is probably without a use: When standing on a vertically moving platform, if there is a solid block above you, you can jump and clip through the ceiling.
After seeing this I started playing around with this game myself and found a couple of things. I discovered a sort of Super Jump that provides a little bit of extra height.
That jump is not possible normally. The way it's done is by turning just as you're about to fall off of a ledge. Then you turn back and jump and you'll end up a tiny bit higher than normal. I also discovered a weird boat duplication glitch. It seems to be useless and it lags out the game a lot the more boats you duplicate.
I was actually thinking that a 100% run of this game would be cool. You could collect every 1-up and fruit in each level and it would allow to show off some cool tricks.
I also made a rough theory TAS of any% during the two weeks or so I played around with this before I got distracted by other things. There isn't much to any% that I am aware (though I never did see that super jump), but maybe 100% could prove to have some entertainment. At least there would be room to play around in the Galaxy stage after collecting all of the fruit.
I have the tendency to post a few too many Kappas.
How to duplicate boats? I've only been able to do it unreliably by jumping around on the right after the water..
I found some strange things..

The teleport seems to only work to the left and only with a duped boat, or maybe the game just can't handle there being 2 boats aligned like that...
Oh, ya I forgot to mention the weird zipping/teleporting glitch. I could never get teleporting to work to the right, which was the only place where it could have been useful. I feel like it only happens to the left because it's related to where the boat spawns.
The way I was duplicating boats was by standing in the area where the boat spawns, then walking to the left far enough to the point where the boat is out of view. Then when you walk back, the boat will have duplicated. You can duplicate the boat more than once if you push the duplicated boats under the lip of grass, then walk off screen to duplicate them like normal. I'm also pretty sure this method requires the bird to be there because the duplication seems to have something to do with the lag the bird produces. I think boat duplicating might have to do with lag in general actually.
As you can see in the gif, the boats only duplicated when the bird was on the right side of the tree which is closest to the boats. That makes me believe it's related to lag or something of the sort.
I actually partly did a TAS of this game a year ago to get familiar with TASing, most notable thing of this is probably the clip in the cave level (Which is already shown in the theory TAS of any%)
