Sorry, I did this on an easier difficulty so it's automatically a terrible run how dare I.
Cancelling. I'm taking a break.

Amazing, work. Nice to know you're the champ of bowling now. Meh, is the name of the vote.

Stage 10: Hideout On Easy mode you only have to refight Doc Ock and The Lizard, which is nice.
Is there also a Hard mode? If so, please tell us why you're using Easy mode?

Like Sonic says. Gotta go fast. Anyways? Why is this an issue to you?

It's shorter and faster. Obviously.

Game itself looks like Genesis Batman. Short. Yes vote.

The movement is interesting with the abuse of the web, and the TAS is short. I vote yes.

more spiderman, you could try the war of the gems game if you're feeling more interested on something besides spiders
TAS i'm interested: megaman series: mmbn1 all chips, mmx3 any% psx glitched fighting games with speed goals in general

That already has a TAS, plus I see nothing wrong with TASing Spider-Man games.

What are the other differences between Easy and Hard?
A hundred years from now, they will gaze upon my work and marvel at my skills but never know my name. And that will be good enough for me.

Actually there are three difficulties: - Easy Start with 8 web cartridges.. Enemies have less HP, defeat only 2 enemies to pass scenes 7 and 8, the cavern only has Oc and Liz - Difficult Start with 6 web cartridges.. Enemies have normal HP, defeat 3 enemies to pass scenes 7 and 8, the cavern has Electro, Hobgoblin, Venom and you can turn off the lights on scene 2 - Nightmare Start with 4 web cartridges.. Enemies have more HP, defeat 4 enemies to pass scenes 7 and 8, the cavern has all bosses, you can turn the lights off on scene 2 too, ..and Venom might pop up on random selected scenes, oh and you can play Spidey Pac Man on a Game Gear :v oh and one more thing, you can get the symbiote on your body, it's a detour (too). Voted No, since Easy is too easy and not challenging to a TAS.

Less enemy health, less refights, and no random element popping up on stages? Sounds like a clear choice for Easy to me.

I really don't understand why choosing a slower difficulty would be preferred over a faster difficulty. If it was an 'all secrets' run, I'd understand, since that's the closest the game has to 100%. But for a TAS whose intention is to go as fast as possible, why should I deliberately go slower just to satisfy an archaic guideline? That's literally the exact opposite of my goal. The idea that Easy difficulty isn't challenging to TAS is complete garbage, since even on Hard you have slowdown and savestates. If you would like, feel free to criticize a part of the movie that doesn't involve difficulty choice. But please stop relying on my choice of difficulty to discredit my work.

Because I find hard mode runs much more entertaining; e.g. compare this easy run to this TAS. Many runs on this site would be faster if played on easiest difficulty, but I'd say that makes them less of a superplay. As the guideline says "it is preferred to play on the hardest difficulty level (for more interesting gameplay) unless the only difference between difficulty levels is enemy/boss hit points", and as Jungon points out, that is far from the only difference in this game. So I'm voting no here.

Anyway, it was great!
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.
