Post subject: Old .dtm files not playing on a more recent Dolphin version

I'm trying to play a .dtm file make on Dolphin 3.5-1060 (yes, it's a rather old movie). The movie syncs perfectly on the version it was made with. The problem i'm having is that the movie file doesn't even seem to work on any other dolphin revision i have. I have 3 different ones. The .dtm doesn't desync, it just doesn't even start to begin with. Does anybody know of a way to play old movie files on more recent dolphin versions?

It can not and will not sync on newer versions of Dolphin.

Emulator input files are very finicky. You should never expect them to work on different emulator versions. They can fail to work on the same version they were made on, even.
