I made a legit Aria Of Sorrow speedrun, it's on my site below: http://www.aria-of-sorrow.tk NOTE: This is not the most perfect run you'll ever see, so please don't flame me for that or something. It's much much better than the earlier movie I had. Please have patience until all servers got the movie.

Methinks you should submit it to the SDA. As it stands, 0.0kbps will get the download nowhere very, very fast, yo. @@;

Speed Demos Archive. If you're able to record yourself doing this run on an actual GBA (or Game Boy Player) they'd host it for you.

Fuck, my server sucks ass. I need to clean up some stuff and maybe it'll be faster. And no, I can't do that unfortunately. Maybe, maybe fileplanet or fileshack will host it. But damn.....damn damn damnit all.

He means This Site wich is on fileplanet, if it was ran on actual gameboy hardware, Radix(the guy who runs the site) will probably host it for you, just get it touch with him and see what you can do for you.

No, I'll see if I can do something else. You'd understand if you'd see the vid. EDIT: Is it still slow? Use IE and not Firefox btw. Somehow the site and everything was faster (at least for my friend)

Nope Still cant download it, it will start but it just stops right after, tried firefox, IE, and getright, all give me the same result. you could use bittorrent ,since its a small file it would be easy to seed.

I wonder why it's working for other people. Can someone else confirm this?

It downloads at an average speed for me. Also, why don't you disable the dot.tk popup on your site?

I wouldn't call a run in godmode a speedrun really. More like a godmode walkthrough.

(-_______-) READ what I wrote in the beginning. Apparently you don't know anything about the game.

The thing was that I got like 5 people telling me the same thing, which was pretty annoying. BUT who cares! Because I just finished a LEGIT speedrun. Please have patience while I'll get two more to host it. There will be three servers on the site. I'll get back here when it's all good.

father, please forgive me for what i am about to do :p ok, on the new video (i have seen the old one as well): the new one is definatly more pleasant to watch, from a non-castlevania-playing point of view (i've never played any of the cv games) so good job there. the intro doesnt make clear either there were cheats used in this version, so i'll just ask... have there been? i noticed the gold is maxed out at the start, that cant be normal ;) time also says 12:40:19, and rate 102.2%, now i dont know what these actually mean, but i doubt that its the internal clock and gamespeed... next, do you get that big huge monster thingie right at the start??? is it meant (or with exploits etc) to be possible to kill some of the bosses in one hit? :\ you spend quite alot of time in the pause screen doing idontknowwhat, i'm not sure but you could possibly shave something off there you can correct some of the mistakes you make (like the long winged jump you miss once, etc). i asume, asuming the hugemonsterthingie is legit, that you planned clearly where you can and cannot use it? where it actually gives you time, and where running is faster (including your inventory screen fiddling). and i couldnt see either it takes up any resources, mana power life? hmmm oh yeah, and where's the end? dont you have to defeat some big boss? you seem (ok not seem, are using) to use a glitch to skip a few levels or something, and then suddenly the vid ends... hmm cant think of anything else :) but i suggest you go and try to optimize the run, its only like 15 minutes per full attempt... good luck oh there is actually one more thing, sound. is this the ingame sound? doesnt it have any sound effects? to be honest, the backgroundmusic of the vids is not very ... attractive, at least not without the soundeffects.

Nightcom begins the run with everything because the previous time the game was completely, everything was collected (all souls, etc etc.) So when the NewGame+ mode was started, the previous file's information was pulled over to the new game. The map is explained by this (I think...) About the pause screen...thats to switch souls. Flying Armor is a different soul than Curly (is that right? I couldn't tell from the video) and if you look, 1 Hi potion is used, and the souls are constantly switched out. Yes, there are some errors that are correctible. At the end of the movie, when Soma is floating up from the bottom of the little pondish thing, the door to the left is sparking and glowing and whatnot. That is the door to the final boss, whos name I won't reveal for the sake of spoilers. The door on the right is the final save point. A specific reason for skipping the final boss (which I have read, but long-forgotten) can come from NightCom, but I believe I answered your questions... EDIT: Oh, the music playing in the video is not that of the in-game music.

i guess this could be considered 'legit' if youre referring to beating this with NewGame+ whatever activated, but this movie isn't really the least bit interesting. It just doesn't seem like the challenge is there, like anyone could do it. Granted you had the route down well, but the only thing besides that to show skill on is jumping, which wasn't even too accurate sometimes.

This 'speedrun' is a joke. No offence, but, as said earlier, there are countless mistakes in this movie, the author moves extremely slow through the menu's and doesn't seem to know ANYTHING about little timesavers. (apart from transforming to Curly.... but even that isn't used at every possible situation) This is more like a common playthrough, a 'walkthrough' as said earlier.

Well, I for one have always been a fan of Nightcom's AoS movies. However, I always thought playing newgame+ made it a bit too easy. Oh well. And Radix won't accept this movie on SDA. he has a specific 'no leaving the level' rule that makes AoS glitch runs unacceptable.
