So it's kind of a confusing topic, but I have been thinking. Maybe someone could create a rerecord counter that continuously changes as the TAS is played, so you can see how many rerecords one part took and how many times they went back to that savestate. If anyone gets what I mean, does this exist? Is it a tool? Or does it have yet to be made (if made at all) -F4LL0U7

This will probably be of interest to you. http://msm.runhello.com/p/20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pw3T9vxetAk It doesn't display a rerecord counter, but for SMW, visualizes each rerecord 'path', collapsing at a savestate, and expanding to each reload.

I like the idea of a rerecords-per-frame based counter. I think it's been suggested before too. You could make really cool things like rerecord intensity graphs to visualize which areas of the TAS were the most challenging.
