So, I made a thread asking about how to continue from where you left off after recording a TAS session in BizHawk's Mupen64Plus, and I was told by this fine gentleman:

Load a movie in Read+Write mode (uncheck the read only box in the Play Movie dialog) and load a savestate. You will resume recording from the savestate.
So I tried it. It doesn't work, though I'm convinced that it will work, I'm just missing something. And something tells me that given the inactivity of this forum, I'm not gonna get a second opinion anytime soon, so it's probably more efficient to just make another topic. Anyway, I'll explain-like-you're-five my exact process in the movie. I pressed "record movie". I named it "Zelda OoT Tas". From "Power On." I went on, I got to the part where Saria was talking to you, and just to test, I saved a state. I paused the emulator. I pressed stop movie. I closed the emulator. I reopened it. I booted up Zelda OoT, and loaded the movie in READ-WRITE MODE. I pressed load from my savestate and unpaused the emulator, and continued TASing. Based on what he told me, my TAS should technically be recording until my last save state before I stop, right? Well, long story short, after about 30 minutes of getting to the Deku Tree and saving my state, I stopped, reopened, and played the movie. Stuck on Saria. Teenager groan.

Just to clarify, when you load your movie in read-write mode and load your state, if you click File -> Movie, is the lock icon on 'Read Only' highlighted, or un-highlighted? If it is highlighted, then your movie is still in read-only mode and un-checking it (Q by default) should toggle that state. Further, BizHawk will display, "Movie read+write mode" if you can now continue to write your movie, or "Movie read-only mode" if you cannot.
I am still the wizard that did it. "On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer." -- Satoru Iwata <scrimpy> at least I now know where every map, energy and save room in this game is

You don't need to make another topic every time. In fact, this forum is pretty active, and each post is directly relayed to our IRC channel, #tasvideos. If you want more real-time help, I would suggest going there. Regarding your problem, try what Invariel suggested. From there, simply enabling Read+Write will allow you to directly continue from your latest savestate, even if the movie stopped much before.

In the tab that says "Read-Only" with the Hotkey as Q, that's unchecked. When I press play movie and highlight my TAS, Read-Only is unchecked. But I haven't checked while it's already loaded. I'll do that. I swear if that's my solution I'm seriously just gonna not do much probably Thanks guys. I'll also go to the IRC channel next time I have a problem which'll be likely because I'm new to this whole TAS thing. I tased Super Mario Bros once and that was fun but that's easy so
