I've been toying around with settings to optimize for OOT (using starting area for example) I can get 60 fps in links house but outside it is at a 45 fps average and is a little lagy and the music is skipping. Question: what settings are best for this game? (This is the only game I really want to do so not worried about other game effects). also not sure if I should try different Z:OOT ROMs, Thank you :)

When you dump your game, verify that Biz reports the resulting rom as a good dump (has a green checkmark in the lower left corner of the program window, on the status bar). In the menu, in Config -> Profile Config, check to make sure the profile that suits your needs is selected. Beyond that, keep in mind that older CPUs will have issues keeping emulation at full speed.

OoT settings depend on what you want. You want the most accuracy in picture and behaviour for tasing? Use the N64 TAS profile, Pure interpreter and glideMK2 with all the options on the general settings page for that plugin marked on. If you want the best speed go for dynarec and Jabo graphics plugin.
