I was sittting on my chair and thought how do you define publication? Is it when a run has been accepted or encoded? Is it when a publisher hits the publish button? What forum is accepted for publication? Youtube or tasvideos? Like ugh.. shouldn't we spread our seed and publish it at various sites? So how do you exactly define publication? Granted, I don't really know.satire We honestly shouldn't laugh at this matter as I have seen newcomers being ping ponged back and forth. From whos point of view do we define publication? Our or players? What does the future holds for the definition of publication? More ceremonial and widespread octopussing? Certainly, a tas that gets encoded on this site is unclear. I propose all parties giving their input file. So, I ask once again, who are we doing publications for? How do you define publication?

It's like a chicken and egg thing. What came first, the acceptance or the encoding? After all, how can you encode a run without first accepting it, and how can you accept a run without having first encoded it?

I fail to see the point. I don't think the General forum is the proper place for this, even if it's done completely amicably and in jest, with no ill intent of any kind.

And then URMOM
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Okay, it's made clear now what direction this topic is going into in terms of maturity level. We're done here.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.
