Have you guys ever played an electronic handheld game before? You might have played then in your childhood years. I've been a fan to electronic games ever since I was six years old when I was introduced to the Bop It game released in 96. Since then i have played every version and seen every game that plays just like it. There are other games like Simon which I didn't know until when YouTube came along but I had some clones of Simon and I had games from Tiger Electronics like Brain Warp, Brain Shift and Boogie Ball! Bop It and Simon games are still made today and it's all thanks to Dan Klistner who in 2008 made a handful of designs to be made at the manufacturing facilities in China. Since the Refresh line of Bop It they have released 8 versions and I have all of them. It's amazing that one year of designing can lead to many years of fun. What handheld games have you played?

Having been born in the 70's, I have inevitably played a few electronic games in my life. In fact, one that I owned, and remember best, was this one. It was actually quite good and enjoyable (for a game of such limitations). A somewhat different type of electronic game from the 80's and 90's, some of which I got to play, and which feels very nostalgic, is the dedicated chess computer (such as Mephisto). I wish I owned one now. It would have coolness value.

Does Game & Watch Gallery games for the gameboy count? Also I recall some such as a sonic one from a McDonalds kid's toy, but don't know their names.

My parents had a purely mechanical Bridge game, as in the card game. You could load it with punchcards that defined the shuffle. Unfortunately by the time I was old enough that I could maybe have figured out how it worked, it'd disappeared. I'd love to know how the AI was implemented.
