Select Mednafen Mode (PSX > Options) Crash It's doing this consistently for me when selecting Mednafen mode. All other modes are fine and resizing to x1 solves the problem. Albeit a temporary one.

1. Start the game 2711 - Drake & Josh (U)(Rising Sun).gba 2. Open Ram Watch 3. Set to search "Not equal to" and "previous value" 4. Search once. Note the addresses and change count 5. Advance a frame or so; the addresses would have the same value yet the change count keeps rising. This happens on both 1.11.7 and 1.11.6, along with both GBA cores.

ust out of curiosity, I tried to click File > Play Movie without having a ROM loaded. I got an Unhandled exception. I also tried right-clicking the detail bar on the "Play Movie" window and then "Edit". I got another Unhandled exception. (also appens if you have an actual ROM)
my personal page - my YouTube channel - my GitHub - my Discord: thunderaxe31 <Masterjun> if you look at the "NES" in a weird angle, it actually clearly says "GBA"

That, shouldn't happen, ever. Unless you somehow got BizHawk to break and partially load or think it loaded a core.

I have several Game Boy Color ROMs that refuse to load in BizHawk 1.11.5 (yeah, screw me for not updating the emulator), and they are: - Just about anything published by Rocket Games (all unlicensed) - Net de Get: Minigame @ 100 - Painter (unlicensed; I don't know the region of this one) Why they don't run is beyond me. Maybe one of these ROMs uses an addon or two that the Gambatte core doesn't support? Or maybe Gambatte doesn't like some of these games? Who knows? Oh, and there's apparently a bug running around in the GBC version of Wario Land II--the game has a habit of freezing every now and then when you're jumping around on top of the train in two levels.

These errors may be due to the Gambatte core. Not much we can do about that except for checking and putting in an updated Gambatte version or replacing it with a different core all together. Both, take time to do.

That is actually simple: just go on File > AVI/WAV and then on Movie. Should I record a gif? another minor bug: In the RAM Watch window, when I press "Clear Change Counts" (the "C" button on the toolbar) the change count does not clear until I click on the main window. Probably a redraw bug.

I checked the latest interim build, and it doesn't have the Play Movie bug. Please check version 1.11.7 to see if the Play Movie bug still exists.

It does. The movie system id and the loaded platform must be: null. Record a movie without opening a ROM file, first unhandled exception occurs. Then play that movie file without opening a ROM file, second unhandled exception occurs. The grayed out "Movie" menu can be accessed if the cursor is first moved to "Recent ROM", "AVI/WAV" or "Screenshot". Easy fix: ensure the disabled menu item stays disabled.

I checked it again, Movie is disabled until a ROM is loaded and the core is Not Null. This bug was fixed a while ago.

On the interim build, it appears MGBA core is broken, and no savestates will load. Making a savestate, then loading it back gives "Loadstate error!" This was working on 1.11.7 however.

This is expected. Interim Builds are subject to breaking any/all features. The long answer, is mGBA Core is being updated so, that's to be expected.

I get two kinds of errors in the latest build Navigating to Tools -> External Tools triggers a non-fatal exception from BizHawk.Client.ApiHawk.ExternalToolmanager (type initializer), but this message reappears very often afterwards. I can reliably crash BizHawk in the following way - load some game - open TAStudio - press INSERT - get a fatal out-of-bounds exception

All TAStudio bugs should be checked against the latest build here: http://tasvideos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13505 The build on that thread is not an official release build. Things may be broken. But bugs should be fixed as well.

This is probably not really a bug, but while loading GoodNES "Double Dragon II - The Revenge (J)" on BizHawk 1.11.7, I got a message saying "Warning: ROM of Unknown Character" Here's a pic: http://i.imgur.com/vXRAFOa.png What does that mean exactly?

May be a hack?

I played the game all the way to the end and didn't see anything that would make it a hack. I also have a movie of it and it synced perfectly with that trained version: "Double Dragon II - The Revenge (J) [t1]" which according to BizHawk's gamedb, is the only good dump of the original Japanese version for some reason.

When it reaches the end of the movie, it records instead of what preference I set it to before opening a movie file and leaving the At Movie End setting as it is.

Are you talking about a regular movie or TAStudio?

I'm just talking about movies. It's a bug in BizHawk itself, not TAStudio which has the Save As pop-up window duplication problem. These should be addressed for 1.11.7a.

I did some checking and No-Intro has no Good Hash/Dump of the Japanese version of Double Dragon II.

BizHawk 1.11.7 G.I. Joe won't progress. When you try to start a game it gets to the first screen after start and it just sits in the briefing room with the monitor showing green. Button presses do nothing. Music seems to be playing though. I tried two separate ROMs both do the same thing.

Try pressing Start.
