Firstly, before I talk about the TAS. Foster's Lager is shit we don't drink that, we drink anything but that.
Us Victroians prefer VB (Victoria Bitter) or Carlton Draught for example.
Weird intro but it's Tapper. So let's start serving that Mountain Dew®!

Not the Encode:

The Contents

  • Completes a Game Loop

Psh, why you throw beer to no one at end of that round?

Good question "drunk" me.
It's basically to manipulate the bandit to leave sooner.

Why don't you avoid getting sprayed?

Getting hit and choosing the right one is the same amount of time.

Possible Improvement

Being able to make the Bandit leave sooner.
It's easy to splice this TAS and make minor corrections to it.
I've done what I can with it.

Special Thanks

Alyosha - For going over the input.
And that's it, Drink Responsibly and so on. If you need me I'll be putting Doughnuts on the Barbie.

Noxxa: Judging.
Noxxa: Quite good viewer response. Accepting to Moons.

As someone who drank a can of Foster's on his eighteenth birthday, this makes me sad... :( Aside from that, nice TAS. There's something kinda funny about seeing the bartender zipping between counters at the speed of light. Voting Yes!

Oh nice it's submitted. Voting yes since I think this is one of the better a2600 games out there. The music and gameplay are both really good. As a side note this game also happens to be one of the hardest to emulate , as it relies on cycle accurate timing of TIA instructions to get the graphics right.

That's an awesome ad to accompany the encode :) As for the game, I knew of this more as Root Beer Tapper, and I'd been curious to see how a speedrun of this would look. It's cool how you make this look more like a shoot-em-up with beer mugs. The bandit bonus games are annoying, but the movie is short enough and impressive enough for a Yes vote.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.

Yes vote, but I'd also like to see a run of the Arcade version, or the MS-Dos version.

Good run, Spikestuff! I never thought this game could be played this fast. This could make it to Moons. Yes vote! Also, that ad was pretty epic.

I would like to see a TAS of a direct arcade port of this game on the Nintendo 64, or the original version that's sponsored by Budweiser, or whatever port of your choosing.

No. Arcade original for that. No port of the arcade version on a system which hosts the game with other arcade games.

Disables Comments and Ratings for the YouTube account. These colours are pretty neato, and also these.
