I have just begun using BizHawk today because I wanted to get into TAS. But I noticed something the tools called a BasicBot. I played around with it a little and I couldnt figure out what I could do with it. Does anyone know what its used for any how you use it?

By memory: Decide how long the segment is. You basically set a simpe goal: Have an adress go <etc> 54 The address are found in the RAM search. If you have 2 identical result. You can break the tie with additional addresses. Then you need to decide about the probabilities of hitting a particular button. Say you need to hold right all the way. Put That one to 100%. That means 100% of the segment it will be pressed. 5% means roughly 5% of the segment this button will be pressed. You also need a saveslot so the bot can return to it.
