Nintendogs is a great game. You get to train your pup, teach it tricks, go for walks, play with it, and enter contests. There are five versions (Labrador & Friends, Dachshund & Friends, Chihuahua & Friends, Best Friends, and Dalmatian & Friends) [btw Shiba & Friends is the Japanese equivalent to Labrador & Friends] To do a TAS seems nearly impossible. It takes the use of multiple sound files. Which means you have to go to the microphone settings very frequently. It'll also be very tricky to encode.

Encode won't be this hard, the main question is : what would be the goal of this TAS ?

Get 1st place in all competitions. It will take a course of 5 days. The dogs' genders, patterns, colors, and personalities are RNG based. Buy a Frisbee, teach it to catch it. First at home (Until after the Open competition) and in parks. Go to the gym every time you walk the dog. Teach it moves, feed it, groom it, and keep it in top shape.

So the TAS will be 5 days long or there's a way to skip days ? AFAIK of the game, you have to talk real words to your pet and I'm not sure that any DS emulator can simulate theres words (maybe with plugins or using a real microphone instead of a buton). Also, the first RNG number is really RNG but all the others are calculated with an equation. The RNG will be exactly the same, as long as it is recorded

Of course you have to have the BIOS files and the Firmware in order to change date and time. Similarly to Pokemon Channel.
