Post subject: Enlarging screen suddenly makes playback choppy

I attempted to run emuhawk and said I was missing elements or files and prompted me to download the prereqs package which I did and installed. But when I attempted to run it again and run an emulation, as soon as I made the screen larger than 1x playback became very choppy like it couldn't handle it. I had just uninstalled several applications a few minutes before and it seemed like one of the files deleted in the process was something to do with dx9. I don't even recall a few of the programs I uninstalled since they were junk for the most part but I don't know why that would suddenly affect the speed of emulation. Any advice would be greatly welcome

config > display > display method change around those options, being aware that if your system is broken suck, some them might not stick when you restart emuhawk to apply them

Yes that was it! It had changed to GD something. Thanks a whole bunch ;)
