There is one big thing that's been going on in my mind is the MSU-1 digital media interface. It allows CD quality audio and full motion video to be played on SNES hardware. With the rise of MSU-1 hacks, it would be a great idea to implement such feature. There's another thing that's swimming in my head, the Super Game Boy 2. What is it? It's a Super Game Boy that has a link function. I know of one game that has an alternate border when plugged into the Super Game Boy 2, and that game is Tetris DX. And one game with similar way; Pokemon Trading Card Game. But it's more of a step down. As you can see, Pokemon Trading Card game does have 2 SGB borders, the latter shows what club medals you have. But plugging it into the Super Game Boy 2, it only shows the former. If we use the SGB2 in BizHawk for link play, it will require more processing power than what is used now. This feature will not be used in 32-bit versions of Windows, and Mac users may have to upgrade to the latest version for the MacOS X builds that uses said feature.

Does BSNES's gameboy core adequately support the link cable?

Yes, and having 2 SNESes running at the same is unnecessary.

I do not understand. If you want SGB, you need a SNES, unless you HLE it.
