I was wondering if people think this would be interesting? i had a lot of fun playing this but usually at 2 players i think a run of this should probably be made of 1 person controlling both characters i dont remember much of this game but i think it would make for a pretty fun TAS any thoughts?

I remember playing this a few times at a friend's house, but it was really long and repetitive. And it was long enough and repetitive enough that I never bothered to beat it. I'm not sure if it would be fun to watch a TAS.

Correct me if I am wrong but isnt this a 4-player game? If you are going to do it you should go all out :)

For Refrence: Ps1 version was 2 player, 64 version was 4 player. This game is high on my intrest list for 64 tas. Interesting to see if it is faster to get the "weapons" for the bosses, or just go all-out on them.

As far as I know, there is not yet a N64 emulator that can play this game perfectly, nor well enough to make it interesting. I have problems when I play it. For one, the background and foreground and all of the surroundings seem to disappear off the face of the emulator, making you have to find out which way you can go. It's a really bad glitch in the emulators. And Mupen absolutely refuses to play the game at all.. Might be a while before we can actually see a TAS for this game.

Well, since the Emulators are finally starting to get better for this particular system, I think it's about time to talk about a TAS for this game. I don't know if an emulator will ever perfectly run this game, or run it at all, but it's a hope I have. Perhaps Mupen+ is that hope.

My buddy and I use to play this game non stop for a few weeks. Splitting up the gold was annoying though. I'm all for a 4p TAS of this game :)

the one thing about this game though, is that it could be good either way. from experience, or what i remember playing of it (it has been quite a while too), the gold and the items are given to what ever player receives them, so if you have more than one player, the gold is going to be divided and not evenly. Gold lets you up grade or something to that effect. on the other hand, with one player, you can create on character who is so beefed up, the rest of the game isnt a problem

I'm all four a 1-4p TAS myself. I loved this game when I was a child. Although...I never beat it for some reason. I always wanted to, but I never had the game for very long. Always had to rent and return..
