Spikestuff's Commentary

Oh boi. First submission of 2018... that was submitted by me and not my partner... and it's only because of this (I'm not summarizing it btw).
To summarize majority of the first 7 fights: (But each fight is 90 seconds long and I want to die inside cause it can't be shorter.)
There are special kind of subtitles provided in the bk2. It's Millenniummon's health.
There's no commentary on it just health, so don't tab it with that.
(It starts after the text "GO!!" disappears.)

Why hard?

Cause it's hard.
Millenniummon ontop of it has more health on Hard (37HP) compared to Easy which is 15HP.
Don't ask me about Normal. Didn't bother checking, even though I said I was going to.
Millenniummon's also has more chances of being a dick. Then again that applies to all the AI in the game on Hard... if this wasn't a TAS and I didn't spend 90 seconds in each battle pinning a Digimon up against a wall and murdering them.

Fight against Millenniummon

Guilmon has a special charge up which allows increased damage but only for one attack a charge, and no air attacks.
I found out through some checking out that the most damage you can do to Millenniummon at anytime is with a sprint attack as it deals 3 damage, which is a whole one more from a normal charged attack of 2.

Charging Up vs Not Charging Up at all.
At like frame 49,730 it becomes Moth's input. So I'll just-- and do-- Ok. There.

Noxxa's commentary

I did the last one-third of the final boss battle. It has hard to dodge big ball attacks, which made TASing it a real pain.
I didn't involve myself in any of the playaroundy parts, but it seems hard to keep something entertaining going there.

ThunderAxe31: Claiming for judgment.
ThunderAxe31: File replaced for a header that points to a good dump.
ThunderAxe31: This run is very optimized. However, the playarounds are bland and repetitive. Accepting for Vault.
feos: Pub.

Is the last fight the only one that can really be sped up at all? Goodness. Good job trying to find ways to play around with so many fights, but that still doesn't get this movie out of Vault tier for me.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
Shoutouts and thanks to mklip2001 for arguably being the nicest and most supportive person on the forums.
