This is the sequal to the Genesis game Rocket Knight Adventures, Sparkster!
This game is really fun and sounds AWSOME. It is very bass heavy so make sure when playing it back you don't blow out your subwoofer
I take some damage in parts to save time in levels, or to get into a better posistion/get some extra hits in on boss's to defeat them quicker
This game is -FAST-, every level except the 3rd last one zips by at a breakneck speed, alot of the time faster then Sonic 3 is!
There is small improvements to be made with this movie (I noticed a brief 1/10th second pause with the act 2 boss before boost attack) and I will make a new run later to improve it.
Oh in case your wondering why I am standing still at the beginning of the desert level before I boost is because you can only do about 6 flips within 15 seconds or your guy stutters and gets dizzy, and the fastest way to get over there WITHOUT stuttering or getting hit by the wolf is to boost up right directly from the starting spot.
This is version 2, I did a quick re-do of the last boss cause I noticed it had alot of flaws, cut 52 seconds off the fight.
Currently working on several other SNES games right now (Final Fight 3, Actraiser 2, Batman Returns, Cybernator, Pocky and Rocky 1 & 2, Plok, R-Type 3, Saturday Night Slam Masters, Wild Guns) and I will work on a version 3 in between. Currently on Plok so I'll do it in between that and Final Fight 3 (I need a break, took 3 hours total for Sparkster ;P)

I would like to add why two boss fights take a LONG time. The 3rd last stage boss (When your in the top down mech fight) is -VERY- tricky to beat, if you hit him too many times too quickly he goes into a beserker mode (Which he does in the movie, I hit him alot of times at first to save some time) after which you have to feint and dodge his attacks, sometimes attacking open air to keep him from charge uppercutting you. Its then a LONG process of takeing out his arms so he dosen't go into a beserker mode again, after which its a easy kill. It LOOKS sloppy, but that fight was a TON of re-records to get right. My guy jabs at open air at times but thats only to keep him in block mode. The second fight that takes a long time is the 2nd last stage mid-boss, the reactor core. When fighting the core the circle minions start off slow, but as the jewels take more damage they speed up to the point where its impossible to even dare try a boost attack because of the midair pause-spin you make every time you hit them. Then it becomes a tedious process of jump slashing at the circle minions till you wipe most of them out so you can hit the jewels from afar. Watching the movie I noticed 2 parts that I need to improve on, and thats the act 2 boss (I pause for a tenth of a second between attacks) and General Lionoss (2nd last boss, I flip over him and I attack to the right accidently, then slash him twice) When I look at the lionoss boss thou there where I miss the slash I still would have only smacked him twice instead of 3 times due to his long invincibility flashs Anything else that could be improved? Hmmm I dunno. I take a hit at the act 3 mid-boss but that was unavoidable, otherwise I would have to wait the half second before boost attacking him. Act 4 I have to take hits with the Lens laser genorator in order to kill it, otherwise its a 15 second wait between laser blasts. Also the act 4 boss I take a hit in order to get onto his other side, because if I diden't I have to boost up over him, flip 4 times to get around and then boost attack and that takes longer then just takeing a smack and going through him. The act 5 orb (The purple one you walk across backwards to make move forwards) I pause for a second before going, but thats so I can make it through the other 4 spikes in one clean motion without stopping. Act 6 is about as fast as its ever going to get =). The part with floating off the basoons and then flip/flip/flip/flip/boost/flip/flip/boost through the cymbils was really pushing my luck (Since you do 6 flips quickly in 15 seconds your guy gets dizzy) Act 7 (3rd last stage) is just me goofing around. The stage proceeds at a set speed so its not very interesting, so I just try to blow up enough bass heavy things to make it interesting (I love the bass effects in this game) Act 8 (2nd last stage) where I am crawling on the ropes I take a hit on purpose, otherwise I have to sit and wait for the charge to pass for 5 seconds before its safe for me to go. And thats about it =) I'll be working on version 3 in the future, working on some other games ATM right now. (EDIT) I see 3 no votes. I would like to know why you guys are voteing no without explanation. I can't fix things if you don't tell me the reason why. So please if you vote give a explanation so I can make version 3 better

I thought the boxning-battle with your copy was a liiiiittle to long. Maybe you could found alots of improvments there. And here and there you miss shots... or does it have some kind of function that you have to hold the button to increase your jet-meter?

Question: Why don't you play on a difficulty higher than hard? Using built in cheat codes to access higher difficulties is allowed. Crazy Hard mode (yes, that's above even super hard, which you unlock), according to GameFAQs: Go to the Set Up Screen, highlight Level and press Left, Left, Right, Right, Down, Up, Down, Up, A, X.
I like my "thank you"s in monetary form.

I have not played the game myself so I might be wrong, but at many times in the boxing battle you seem to do nothing, you just sit there waiting, as does your opponent. One other boss that bugged me was the brain with the 4 blue crystals and the shield thingie. Can't it be done any faster? It really seemed like you were using some sort of a safe but slow tactic. You apparently don't have to destroy the shield at all, but you almost do. That's a lot of wasted shots.

I explained the boxing battle, you have to pause/jab at air at times in order to keep him in block mode. You attack too quickly he goes back into his bezerker mode (Which you see in the video) or his charge attack jab mode which is just as deadly. I can TRY it again but I did about 100+ re-records with the boxing match alone just to beat it the first time. As for the crystal genorator the more you hit the crystals the faster the ring goes, eventually it gets to the point where you can't boost attack and hit the crystals at all without getting smacked around, thats why I jump slashed at them untill I could defeat the whole thing. BUT if its what you guys want I'll try to re-do the act 7 and up (Shooting stage onwards) because I know Act 7 could be done better alone (It takes less time not to shoot anything at all then it does to blow stuff up. Not killing anything prevents slowdown). Just don't hold your breath on a faster boxing battle, since he only goes into block mode after he goes into beserker mode once, and then you still have to take it slow and pick apart his arms till they are gone slow enough that you don't make him go right back into beserker mode. (EDIT) I will attempt crazy hard mode AGAIN later. I beat the game up to level 7 before in crazy hard mode, then goto the boxing fight (The boss has 5x the life you do) and he takes off THREE hearts per jab he does to you, so when he goes into beserker mode the first time in order to get him into block mode its almost impossible to survive. If I -DO- beat him (I have the file saved still) later I will continue it, but don't hold your breath. Don't believe me on the boxing robot? Try it yourself to see how hard it is.
