The TAS I made (Super Mario Bros. Glitchless) seems to have a slower pace. When I was creating the inputs for the TAS, I didn't mind, but now that I'm finished, the speed of the TAS has lowered. My emulator is BizHawk 2.3.1, if anyone is wondering. My TAS speed is 42-43 fps when played from the beginning with no frame advances. Thanks in advance!

It's OK. You're probably using a notebook or a quite outdated PC. When you record your footage, the output video always has stable 60 fps (or 50 fps for european games). Also, make sure you're using NEShawk core when TASing NES games! It's not an obligation, but this core emulates NES more accurately. Config -> Cores -> NES -> tick NEShawk (works only for new TAS projects)
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

Weird, because I have a 2012 PC and I was using NESHawk the whole time; I'm not sure if because it's a hardware issue or what, but it's quite annoying. Thanks for the information though!

I got it. Thanks! Apparently when I chose NESHawk for my core, the input didn't go through; staying at QuickNES. I just had to reboot the core after selecting NESHawk to get it to work! Thank you so much!
