interesting, but a bit plain. is walking faster than jumping ? if they're the same, you could jump and strike as if it were random, making the clones kill everyone perfectly instead, as unexpected as possible. the game just beg for clone abuse.

As far as I can tell, the speeds are the same. Watching ram values would be the way to confirm it though. Like you said, good style would make a TAS of this a lot more interesting.

The screen scrolling does appear to pause for a split-second when you jump. Methinks jumping is the same speed as walking, but the minor delay at the beginning of the jump might add up.

Need to start working on updating this. First order of business is to find out a couple things. -Randomness 1) *How to manip powerups? 2) *Can we manip enemies in some way? Appearance location, frequency? Slowdown 1) Reduce jumping Lag Reduction - What causes lag? This will be annoying. 1) Too many sprites on screen for sure. 2) Getting hit? 3) Probably some weapon use? The kusarigama is probably out of the question.
