Hello TASvideos friends, how are you? I recorded a movie with Dolphin and the same movie syncs perfectly, but the problem is when it's time to dump. The video comes out perfect (with FFV1 turned on, of course, thanks to JosJuice), but the audio comes out completely out of sync with the video. Does anyone know what I can do to solve this serious problem? To record dtm I used Dolphin 5.0-10167.

It's a typical problem for Dolphin and, to be honest, it's a nonsense when audio is perfectly synced with video straightaway. You have to use a video editor and sync the audio stretch with your video manually by moving it left/right. The quality will be spoilt a little, but it's the best way I know.

Does this happen with all versions of Dolphin or only with 5.0? I'm trying to join audio and video with Sony Vegas, trying to sync video and audio, but I'm suffering and losing my patience with this process. I appreciate your help Dimon, but I need more help to solve this problem. Could any experienced encoder with Wii / Gamecube help me?

I was staying with Dolphin 4.0-9390 for a long time. This build has no problems with syncing and no internal bugs. If the compatibility is not a case, you can try it for your new projects. Also I found no dumping issues in 5.0-8715. Your 5.0-10167 movies should playback well on it. I don't know what would encoders suggest you. If your hardware is strong enough that it shows 60fps during the playback, you can try to record Dolphin window with Action! (it doesn't drop the framerate in my experience) and get a 1080p60 video on YT (depending on your screen resolution).

In general, the older the version is, the worse the sync will be. Some of the most important improvements include 4.0-3595 (it was basically worthless before this), 4.0-3872 (non-Windows only), and 4.0-8634 (Windows only). The improvements in 5.0-99 and 5.0-280 also help in some cases, but can technically be corrected for manually. Please be careful with the version numbers – 5.0 is very different from 5.0-10167.

No, they will very likely desync. Just looking a few weeks back into the changelog, 5.0-10039 alters the timing. There might be additional changes that affect the timing, I haven't checked.

Well, I tested the possibilities and I give the answer: in version 4.0 the video came out with bugs graphics, and in version 5.0-8715 I put to create a movie. And the movie I created in version 5.0-10167 gives desync in version 5.0-8715. Is there anything, a setting that I need to do to not give the audio problem out sync with the video? I tried record Castlevania Rebirth (works with Dual Core disabled) and Gradius Rebirth and audio and video are out of sync when dump audio. I'm really sad because I just bought a new computer that runs all the current games, runs the Dolphin without problem but at the time of writing this emulator is being a heavy one.
