I'm trying to find out how to perform a trick that CPU players pull of in Mega Bomberman, but I have no idea how it's done and if I'll be able to use ram watch to watch how the CPU does it. If I figure this out and it is indeed possible to do as a human player (or TAS), this will completely change how this game is played. The trick in question involves using the green kangaroo, the one that has a fast dash forward as its special ability. The CPU can sometimes activate this ability and keep it active while being able to move in any direction, which is something that I have never been able to replicate. If this isn't the best sub forum to ask this question let me know and I'll delete this topic and create it again in the correct place.

CPU players usually do not generate input in the form of button presses. Rather, they follow some algorithm that the programmers put in place to determine their behavior. You will likely need to analyze the game's code to find out if that trick is possible for a human to do.
