Tom and Jerry Frantic Antics Is like The Gameboy version which came out in October of 1992 while the Genesis version came out in 1993.
  • Takes damage to save time
  • Aims for fastest time
This run was actually not that bad to do. I was managed to beat all of the existing records. I was also manage to find out a lot of shortcuts to beat these levels faster. I was able to optimize everything by the stairways, and the ladders. Rolling on the final boss was the fastest way possible. I grabbed the big fish at the end. That way, I have enough stamina to beat the game.

I've got a question. Am I supposed to have a Temp encode too? I'm a little curious.
What you provided is already a temp encode.

Temp just means temporary, so it refers to the encode the author provides for submission viewing.

The only reason why you see temp encodes with not great quality is because people dont know how to make higher quality ones.

...or because some of us who make less than stellar quality temp encodes aren't as particular about the quality of a temporary encode knowing it's going to be re-encoded for publication anyway.

Thanks WST, but I was actually looking through my TAS one brief moment, and saw that on the second level, I didn't beat the existing record. I didn't even tie it. So now I'm gonna make a new one, and fully improve everything. I'm gonna break the records (and probably tie them since there really good.) Can I Submit my new one when I finish it?

Of course, you can cancel your submission, edit the run and submit the new one. Runs that are worse than existing ones are always rejected.

I'm wondering whether your 1st level is faster than this one. Can you beat the level faster by shifting to the edge of the screen?

Around 1:45 in the video on the second level, it seems like it slows you down when you bounce on them. If it's true, try to avoid them and see if it is faster. And at the very end of the TAS, you can avoid moving after the last hit on the boss to make the TAS finishing faster i think. Good TAS overall looking forward to see the improvements !

I just made a new one and its going to be edited in the submission but I didn't know about the wip and all I was doing was making improvements. on the second level, I got 5:28 on my new one

Quick question if you dont mind. Is there any reason you prefer to use gens over bizhawk?

Gens is what I started off with, and never knew anything about bizhawk. Switching to bizhawk is just going to take more time to get used to. (Unless if it's really easy. I don't know.)
