I TASed Cuphead but unfortnately, it desyncs on middle of stage, Cuphead developers announced they're making linux port for this game but never launched, so we'll have desyncs for this game forever. Link to video

Well, not necessarily, some desyncs can be fixed. You can open an issue on github.

Personally i would wait on opening up an issue on github until the linux version comes out.

Developers announced about linux version over a year ago but didn't releases linux verison yet so it's most likely never release linux verison.

You are speculating on things that you don’t actually know the answer to. Unless they specifically said they’re canceling the port, there’s no reason you should assume it’s never coming ever. They could be trying to work on the port as we speak.

The game was released on Switch recently, so I think it is likely that it will never be released on linux. Usually, a game that is not released on Linux on the first day won't get a Linux release unless the developers are motivated (and usually are verbose about it, because some linux users can be insistent). I would be very surprised to see a linux port 2 years after the initial release. EDIT: also, the game runs fine on wine, so even less motivation for the devs to get a native linux port.

The devs are very afraid to release native linux verison because they're afraid that few people will TAS their game maybe?
