Emulator:snes9x-1.43, No Warps/Passwords, Dont take hit. Aim for Fastest time. The game is a game of memorization and quick relexes. The making of the movie was alot of work making ever hit/punch/jump percise. I think anyone would like this because if they have ever played the game without save state, it seems impossible.

Well..you can watch it to find out. Half the game is memorization anyway. so not alot of things you can do to rerecord if you know what to do.

I'm going to have to vote no. There's a lot of missed hits in level 2 which add up to some serious lost time. There's some hesitation in your actions, and so on and so forth.

its the US version as well, correct? EDIT: not bad for such a low rerecord count. of course, im not that familiar with the game, so im not really sure whats possible and whats not.

Well.. If this makes it.. it will be cool. but im trying to fix up a few things i saw after watching it around 3-4 times. i know how i can MAYBE.. decrease the time to around a flat 20.. thats my goal this run.

Try to add some cool stunt / funny moves while you need to *wait*, that would add up more entertainment. Not just jump and kick.. need more than that.

Make sure you use all the tricks you can. Steal FODA's trick to finish the last snake pit a little faster. The first level looks all right, but I think you can do even better. You need to do something funky on the speed bikes to make it more interesting. The tower also needs to be perfect, use frame advance and lots and lots of rerecords. If you move forward to hit the bad pins/dominoes does it end the bonus level faster? I have to say that this looks much better than the last one you posted. Stick with it and you could have something here.

i still think the game is way too boring for a timeattack, except for level 1. A 1 player run is a bad choice, but its his first, so its ok for him to try it. i've shown him a way of doing level 1 quicker, but the other levels are impossible to make look entertainingon a 1 player run... imho.

What rom did you guys use anyways? So far these are the only ones I found. Battletoads - Battlemaniacs (E) Battletoads - Battlemaniacs (J) Battletoads - Battlemaniacs (US)(26454) Battletoads - Battlemaniacs (US)(6526) 26454 was the one that I could watch longest. It desynced in the scooter level where you have to jump over those stone blocks.

I had to vote No because it doesn't look very aesthetic. I don't like your bonus stage. Very boring to watch. Even if it's slower because of bonus points, I think it will be more impressive trying to collect all skittles. Personally, when I will do this game, I will collect all skittles. Also, your moves are so imperfect.

Thats weird Foda. I tried that rom as well and could not watch till the end. Anyways. I will vote NO on this as well. It's not stylish enough, misses alot of punches etc. Better luck in next version! ;) Personally I think you should use punches in the level that scrolls downwards instead of using that hooverboard -projectile stuff where you grabs the roof or the edges and fires it away. You don't get score doing that. And I think it looks cooler if you only beat them all up regular.
