Apologies for the noob question. What does this do when configuring AVIs in bizhawk? I've been trying to record a GBA tas and it didn't seem to making any difference either way in size or quality so I just left it on.

It's mainly used for Gameboy, N64 and PAL PlayStation (and it's disabled on NTSC PlayStation). Each for different reasons compared to the other.

so will leaving it on cause any problems for GBA dumps? I don't seem to notice a difference but just want to be safe.
