Or Paper Boy on the N64 which isn't that good, but probably more fun to watch with it being 3D and tricks you can do. I tried it and it emulates perfectly as far as I can tell.

In Paper Boy for NES, using frame advance, you can actually throw more than one paper into each mailbox. This, of course, depends on your speed, but at maximum speed, you can throw 3 papers into each mailbox, getting points for each paper. That should change your equation some, Twisted Eye. :P By the way, that was an interesting mathematical analysis of Paperboy. :)

Actually, this was a good end result. It's not *exactly* the same thing, but same basic principle and we've arrived at something actually worth doing now. So, considering you can now get up to three newspapers in one mailbox without slowing down, we can assume that it's possible to get every single newspaper into a mailbox. Also: Picking up a bundle of papers gives you 50 points. So the maximum score for each level before the bonus areas would be: ((Number of refills x 50) + (Number of refills x 10 x 700))

oOOOoo I didn't know that! I love learning new things about games I used to know everything about ;) Yeah, I just tried paperboy 2 for Nes, Snes, and Genesis, and I think the Snes one wins--'cept you can hop in the Genesis version, I don't remember if either nintendo version allowed that. Not that it'd help much, I'm sure.

Hmm. The formula I posted actually isn't correct because you start with 10 newspapers. So where it says "number of refills" it should say "number of refills + 1"

In Paperboy the drops are random, but they are determined by the frame in which you enter the stage and cannot be maniplated further than that without dying.

Punisher. It even shows counter after every level. Total enemy and Enemy eliminated. (and percentage) I don't remember exactly but maybe you must visit all hidden bonus worlds to kill 100% enemies ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Here is location of all secret bonus worlds with timestamps in description Link to video
