* I realize that this post is old, but I had to bump it up in the hopes that a solution has been found since my original post. Does anyone know if there's a full window option in Bizhawk? I was hoping that the emulator would start in full window mode when I boot up the program and also retain the full window position when the game is closed. I can't seem to find this option anywhere in the settings. Please keep in mind that I'm not asking for help finding the full screen mode, but rather the mode that will only maximize the program when it's opened (and keep it that way).

I appreciate the response, but I was actually referring to full window mode (maximum window mode) not full screen mode. I want it to look like a browser would look in windows. The program would take up most of the screen, but you can still see the menu at the top and the taskbar on the bottom. At this point I can maximize the window without an issue, but it doesn't want to stay in that position when I restart the program or exit out of a game. I've already tried the 'save window position' option, but it doesn't work.

Config > Display >> Window Frame: None Uncheck Status Bar, Caption, Menu. If you want the Menu to load, Right Click the Void. If you want to full window it without having controls. Windows + Up whilst Hawk is the active window. The retain the "full screen" that you want won't work as you want it (unless I'm forgetting something).

Sorry, I misunderstood.

Is there any other way to get this to work? I find it particularly annoying when I change the resolution for a game and the menu moves off screen every time I open the program. It's literally the only feature that I want to see implemented with this emulator.

It's funny how I posted this question a few years ago, but I'm still looking for a solution to this problem. Does anyone know if this feature has been added yet? I am looking to set Bizhawk to full window mode (not full screen mode).

It's funny how you bumped this question just now, and there was a solution posted in the Discord yesterday. Create a shortcut (.lnk) to EmuHawk, open its Properties window, and set "Run:" to "Maximized".

Hey look buddy, I'm an engineer. That means I solve problems. Not problems like "What is software," because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of philosophy. I solve practical problems. For instance, how am I gonna stop some high-wattage thread-ripping monster of a CPU dead in its tracks? The answer: use code. And if that don't work? Use more code.
