This one is a unique case for a tas. You really are pressed on time if you don't get X item before someone else does. Like defensive abilities or ones that cause a lot of damage that you would want. Speaking of weapon that does a lot of damage, its one that I ban in my current tas that you can find in my latest userfiles. I'm not sure what its called, but it fires out some projectile in the air and lands on some opponent by some luck. I hate it, and its not very entertaining to watch some lucky shots to end a match. Also in the movie in my userfiles is that I make heavy use my the default machine gun you get to embarrass the opponents who have much bigger arsenal. It goes through the first 3 stages, and I'm just taking a break for now. Does anyone want to see more? There exist a 100% speedrun of this game on youtube with a time of like sub 2h50m. It completes all objectives, but doesn't get all kills.

Watched some rta runs and they don't make much of a difference.. a tas wouldn't have much advantage

Game is advanced enough that any AI manipulation would be interested to see. If not individual events then just beating the world record.

I absolutely adored this game a long time ago and would very much like to see a TAS of it. This class of game represents a really serious challenge to TAS though since the degree of freedom you have to finish each stage is enormous, so optimization work could spiral out of control on just the first stage. It might be worth trying to just beat the world record, entertainment value be damned, to see what it looks like. It's tempting to style on your enemies in a TAS but if it gets in the way of finishing a very first TAS for the game I think it can be ignored.
