Oddly, this 2021 NES homebrew allows the player to skip every single level by pressing the Start button. This TAS completes the game in the absoluteley fastest possible time using this.
For a more interesting TAS of this game that actually plays through every level and explains this game in more detail, please see here.

slamo: Claiming for judging.
slamo: The start button is not listed as a control and is presumably some sort of debug/cheat feature, and we don't allow any debug features that skip content. Even if we did, the movie is a little too trivial as well, since it's just pressing start on the earliest possible frame in every level. Rejecting.

Would be better if there was more gameplay here than just pressing a single button a couple times.

That's what the 'no level skips' run is for and it made sense to submit this at the time with it. I'm not at all bothered about whether this movie's published or not but at least both ways to beat the game have been showcased.

Basically a debug code or whatever, a bit of a spammy submission just for the "this is fast" meme.

I just wanted to point out that while I agree with the rejection, the title screen does clearly state "PUSH START", so the judgment's argument about not having the Start button in the listed controls on the game's description sounds a bit far-fetched to me.
