Hey!
New Mario Bros is a Super Mario Bros romhack that contains 20 levels with interesting designs and completely new sprites. The game doesn't contain any warpzone, so you have to get through all 5 worlds in order to save the princess.
This 10 minutes TAS contains tight platforming as well as a couple neat glitches
Enjoy!

feos: Claiming for judging.
feos: Great job! Quite a bit faster than the existing records. The hack itself is good too, accepting.

despoa: Processing...

The TAS looks quite well made, but the hack itself looks pretty unremarkable, honestly. Other than the graphics, nothing substantial seems to have been changed, and the TAS doesn't really show anything you wouldn't see in warpless runs for stock SMB and SNES Lost Levels. In a strange way, the repertoire of ways you can break the wall collision weirdly hurts the entertainment value in this case. Instead of going through the intended path, which would've presented some unique obstacle, you can just clip through the wall or the ceiling and go around the obstacle instead. Anyway, good work overall. Voting yes.

Worth noting that the previous record is not that 10:19, but actually my 10:17.58 from 2019. Also, multiple userfiles have been posted since then as well regarding a work-in-progress TAS: 10:15.50, 10:13.75, 10:13.65, 10:04.23, 10:03.19 (I also mentioned the need for some help, so I'm a little sad I wasn't contacted) Lastly, there should be a few timesaves from the WIP that could be applied to this publication, so maybe expect a follow-up submission in some months?

Oh wow, I didn't even think we could have anything for this hack. I'd still have only found the submission tho, since the userfiles have a different game selected.
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.
