One of them is Armwrest.zip.

Seems that this is due to the core internally just rounding down bounds sizes, which ends up resulting in 0.75 turning to 0. It shouldn't be too hard to actually fix.

Load the state and it'll freeze at the frame where the savestate was made, without crashing the emulator. And sometimes loading a state can crash. I guess someone reported this already. Yet another issue which luckily only happens with a few games: When you go into Service mode and exit from it, the emulator closes itself. Cannot play RayStorm nor Psychic Force because of this, since it always boots into Service mode (MAME does this too but at least it reloads the game without closing). Another issue: Shikigami no Shiro (Taito G-NET machine which is PS1-based) suffers from input desyncs especially when there are lots of bullets on the screen. A waterbox solution would be ideal for situations like this.
Please test again, the new link is in the OP.

So, now Armwrest.zip crashes the emulator for me. The other games I play (punchout.zip and spnchout.zip) all work, just armwrest.zip. It works until after the man says "Gentlemen, let the tournament begin!"

The emulator doesn't seem to crash for me with armwest.zip. Not sure what's going on then.

Could you please list the zip names for these? Trying just what I think is Akai Katana (akatana.zip) and it just results in an "unknown load error" / MAMEHawk doesn't understand what system it is.

I know about this happening to Akai Katana and DoDonPachi SaiDaiOuJou recently due to rights reasons: https://github.com/mamedev/mame/commit/54899379258a7266db8d5bc6cda8b48169e67503

So weird that armwrest.zip isn't working for me, and it's also weird that they removed support for the two games. It was unnecessary for them to do so.

It is not weird that MAME is trying to avoid getting sued. If they don't comply, they very well risk the copyright holders sueing them and the repo taken down. Also, it's just the "nice" thing to do for the copyright holders.

Some games were fixed, but Espgaluda 1 and 2, Guwange and Ketsui still don't work. Also, Ibara and Pink Sweets are working but you can't put coins. They give a "coin error" screen when you do that.

I don't know why Armwrest.zip is crashing for me just before the first opponent, Texas Mac, shows up. Punch-Out!! and Super Punch-Out!! work, but there are slight inaccuracies compared to a real machine (example: the counting speed is a bit fast on Mame for PO and SPO, and the laughing is faster for Arm Wrestling.)

Espgaluda 1 and 2, Guwange and Ketsui should work now. Do the coin errors not occur in upstream MAME? EDIT: Checking MAME's issue tracker and I found this: https://github.com/mamedev/mame/issues/7720 Simply holding the coin button will result in a coin error (intentional design to prevent some lockpicker bypassing inserting a coin). It needs to be pressed and unpressed in a short interval. I can insert coins fine with quick taps to my binded coin key.

I'm noticing a few issues for all the games I am trying. I can't post audio files here, but I can post the files on Discord to show what I'm talking about. In Punch-Out, the voice sounds a bit different than it should, and the counting speeds for are a bit fast compared to the actual game. The sound when an opponent falls is like the NES game instead of the arcade one. This also applies to Super Punch-Out!! In Super Punch-Out, Dragon Chan's kick makes a sound that isn't even emulated on MameHawk. Finally, in Arm Wrestling, the laughing when you miss the money is faster than it should be. I can't post a comparison for that one because I don't have the original audio recorded directly from the game.

Are these issues specific to MAMEHawk or do they occur with upstream MAME too?

The issues are on regular Mame as well. I created an issue on GitHub last night.

I've tried the interim version of BizHawk and, wow, not only it uses the latest MAME version (0.250) but it's also alot more stable and doesn't crash anymore, i've tried this with a Neo Geo game and it doesn't crash anymore as well i see it does support analog controls. Looks like i'm going to be more open to experiment with more Arcade TASes. I was also about to comment about games that uses CHDs or extra roms but i've saw what i need to do. From what i've been trying so far, i've got 4 things to say: - Games that uses overlays like HI and LOW gear or any other kind still crashes the emulator, 3 examples i can put is Speed Up by Gaelco, Hyperdrive by Midway and the Mechanical version of Cosmo Gang by Namco. - Some games still doesn't save the NvRam (SaveRAM in BizHawk), 2 examples i can put is Speed Racer and Tecno Drive by Namco, for Speed Racer, when i go to the service menu to change the difficulty of the Oponets and Time to Very Hard, as soon i reset the game, both goes back to Normal and for Tecno Drive, since the Printer needs to be turned off to be able to play the game and the steering must be re-calibrated, again when i reset the game, same thing. - Some games i don't know why they don't launch just throwing an error and they don't need extra roms, 2 examples i can put is Hyper Crash by Konami and Mille Miglia 2 - Great 1000 Miles Rally by Kaneko. - When i tried to load CART Fury (Uses the vegas hardware) it crashed the emulator, i don't know if this will happen as well with other games that uses the vegas hardware. (Or could it be related that it tried to read a .bin file in the first place when loading first the cartfury rom from Open Advanced then Launch MAME)

i seem to be encountering an issue with the beatmania (bm1stmix, bm2ndmix, bm3rdmix, etc...) and pop'n music (popn1, popn2, popn3, etc...) series of games, where attempting to load them just crashes BizHawk with no visible error? attempting to load the zip through the arcade ROM loader just induces an error about a missing CHD, as expected, but if i use the multi-disk bundler to pick both the zip and CHD, and load the XML, the program freezes for a few seconds and then disappears entirely. i've also tried this with beatmania IIDX (bmiidx & so on), but it seems to crash regardless of if i use the multi-disk bundler or not this doesn't seem to happen with some other games that just rely on a zip, or other ROMs that require CHDs -- unsure why it's the case for these specifically? this might also occur with other games as well, but i'm not sure what in addition, games from the beatmania III series seem to throw a GBL load error saying no core could load the game when being loaded properly, and games with CHDs that are above 2GB (such as later pop'n entries and assumingly other games in MAME as well) throw a separate GBL load error saying the operation is limited to files less than 2GB -- admittingly i'm not sure if this one is intentional or not

I want to use custom MAME built as using "PRESSURE_SENSITIVE" option in ($MAME)/src/mame/drivers/namcos1.c. (for Beraboh Man 4-button setting) Is there any way to accomplish it?

I would like to make a suggestion/request about supporting gun/light gun controller if possible. Also, I'm having an issue about two specific games who keep crashing and closing the emulator when I try to launch them which are both Killer Instincts even having both chds at folders and the right romsets (I'm using the Multiple-disk Bundler to run the CD games) when other CD games are working as usual.
Someone who still enjoy playing fighting games ;)
