I am TASing a game and got about 40 hours in and the first count-down style door challenge closes after four seconds. I even tried it in real time and no dice. Not sure if there's an issue with the timer, it doesn't like the TAS, my framerate (it's a little laggy, sometimes I drop to 40 FPS), or some kind of bizarre anti-piracy thing I tripped by using TASStudio. So aggravated! So excited to finish this TAS. Thanks guys OtakuTAS

Does the issue occur in upstream melonDS?

I'm running BizHawk 2.8 with MelonDS, It's pretty late in the game (especially non-TAS) so I haven't been able to test with a different emulator. Watched videos online of speedruns and casual playthroughs alike and both have sufficient time to reach the exit. I have tried various different methods, skips, a speedy glitchless run, and even a slow-as-can-be casual run played as intended and the exit door closes in 4 seconds in a level that requires at least 15 seconds not to mention geared towards casual players.
