This submission is for Home Alone for the Genesis which is a psuedo-survival-tower defense-type-game. You must survive for 40 minutes (on expert) against the wet bandits without letting them loot all 5 houses.
With the ban on triviality lifted I felt like it would be a good time to let these Home Alone games shine. Since we end time on final input in the TAS, we can optimize a bit, nail down the bare minimum of things we need to do to win the game, and let it run out for the rest of the 40 minutes.
We make use of various glitches/bad AI pathing/etc through these runs to get our objective done very quickly. In this version we have to drive to the modern house where we drift into position to enter it as fast as possible. Once inside we make use of a floor clip that gets us out of bounds behind a pneumatic tube and the bandits try forever to catch us but they can't.
While it may be boring to watch the game play itself out without anything really happening on the screen for dozens of minutes, I felt it was still worth making TASes for these to see just how quickly they could be "completed."
Who knows, maybe I missed something and we'll get a frame war going on some fresh new content that wouldn't have been allowed on TASvideos even a year ago.
So judging from a quick look, it seems everything has been manipulated as optimally as one could get. Kevin has a strange ability to put himself into a position where the bad guys and the robot, try as they might, cannot get to Kevin. This gives him enough time for his family to return home so the bad guys can be unable to win.
Since movement can screw with enemy AI, doing even the slightest change can make the whole run impossible. It doesn't really matter what weapons were used here (since none are used at all anyways), The goal is just to get Kevin into a state where he is safe from the bad guys by somehow convincing the robot to let him clip through walls so the badguys can't get him. Although I'm not sure why the bad guys are so insistent on catching Kevin since I don't think even he can escape, the bad guys can just easily steal from these houses at this point but they are so insistent on catching Kevin that they forgot what they were doing.
Regardless of the unexplained motivations of the bad guys (not to mention the futuristic setting), I think this is a great effort that may not be easily beaten.

I have a run of this on my old hard drive I spent a really really long time optimizing the sledding, I can hook up my old hard drive and check it and see who's faster. I remember frame perfect drifting past the snowman's hitbox so I think mine is but maybe I'll bite my tongue.
Never submitted it because I didn't think the game would be accepted because you have to wait 20 (or 40) minutes to finish.
You're adding 20 minutes to the finish by playing on hard. Easy is 20 minutes, Hard is 40. Only difference (in the whole game let alone this run) is the timer so it will pass judgement with flying colors and save frames.
Also, you can land frame perfect on the clip spot. I know it doesn't really matter, but if you were going for a cleaner look it's possible.
The robot is hardcoded and as long as you pass the pipe you're safe. There is no fine tuning this run. Only way to lose is basically screwing up the sledding.

Submitted mine. It ended up being 9 frames faster due to several reasons.
Incredibly I found the hard drive, that was the hard part.
