Falling Crystals
Have to land the crystals on the boxes. Like Tetris, you can speed up their descent by holding down. Down is held for the entire run except for a portion where the angle is too extreme on one of the crystals, where down is let go for the exact number of frames it takes for the crystal to adequately land on the box.
Crystal Charm Challenge
Have to set the crystals in their respective spots. The real challenge here is the terrible graphics, so it's basically a guessing game.
Field of Flowers
This one was my favorite. Basically have to cover all the tiles without going back nor running into any flowers. The solution is the best possible.
Marine Mix-up
You have to catch the fish in order as they appear on the screen. I catch them all as quick as possible, including predicting when they will spawn and catching them off the screen.
Magic Rainbow Potion
This is the hardest game in the set and technically should be last, but the menu routing put it here best. You have to link all the columns with at least one flow of magic liquid. This was a nightmare to even figure out RTA. Once I figured out the combination, I went back and optimized the path to be the best possible in terms of movement.
Twin Dragon Match
It's a guessing game and a match game. There is some skill required for a TAS, as I opt to activate the card next to the previous last activation of the set, to ensure quickest pickings. I created a route that allows no cards to be more than a space away until the final card.
Pegasus Flight School
Mostly battling against bad movement. I figured out you can clip into the clouds if you do the flying trick, which also causes you to immediately land and be able to jump again. I also discovered the first glitch in this game which is that if you hold left or right on a certain frame after jumping, you can shoot straight up, however this was not used as the vertical gains were too high and caused a late landing.

feos: Claiming for judging.
feos: Changed the branch as explained here.
feos: Replacing with an improvement and accepting.
Since difficulty modes in this mode have entirely different level layouts in most minigames, a movie playing though all the layouts would be able to obsolete this one. But completing each minigame once is also acceptable as explained in the post I linked above. Accepting.

despoa: Processing...

Difficulty is included in title as the difficulty alters the core gameplay of the minigames. (i.e. smaller grids on grid based games)

looks good, but is the minigame choice routed for ending input as soon as possible? ;P

Yes, each minigame picked is the fastest choice next in line to the previous (Or do you mean the category? That has nothing to do with it and is much different than a story mode run)

I played every minigame on every setting, and apart from falling balls that only change speed from what I noticed, indeed every other minigame (barring the second one) has a different layout for each difficulty setting. Since this mode doesn't have an ending, we would accept a movie that completes all minigames on all difficulty levels over a movie that goes through each of them once, instead of having a separate branch for every difficulty. This one is good for now since it completes one full loop, so to speak. Tho I'd rename this branch to "Activity Mode, Genie Master" to match the in-game naming.

I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Sorry for the late reply-- what I meant was that it looks from a glance like the penultimate game has about two seconds from the final input to playing the celebratory music, whilst the final game has well under a second til then, so I was thinking it might be faster to end with Twin Dragon Match instead of Pegasus Flight School? Seems to me like it would save 1-2 seconds but I might be missing something.

It is indeed over a second faster to end with the memory game, see here.

wait goddammit it it's even faster to end with the fish isn't it edit: well. i guess it depends on if you think pressing A to return to the title screen after the long cutscene at the end of fishing is required for completing this category. if so then no. if not so then sorry but all the game RNG is messed up now and i don't feel like fixing it rn lol, could be saved for a future submission
