I am glad Bizhawk 2.9.1 has fixed the crash of arcade games. However, although many games work without any problem, I'm having problems with CPS3 games. I know it's necessary to have the CHD File in conjunction with the ROM and open it with Mult-Disk Bundler (similar to Neo Geo games). Although at first it seems that the game has been successfully opened (the name appears at the top of the emulator) it's only on a black screen for a moment until the emulator finally crash. The game I've been trying to play is Street Fighter III: New Generation, but to no avail. To make it clear, the MAME version on Bizhawk runs CPS3 games? I know Neo Geo Games and other 80s/90s games run without any problem. But I really plan to test middle to late 2000s games and early 2010s games, since it has become an alternative for PS2 that isn't possible to make stable TAS videos yet.

I have SFIII:NG running without issue. Just going to string the questions that you can check. What's your xml set up like? Did you accidentally prioritize the CHD then the zip instead the other way around? Did you happen to have renamed the CHD file from cap-sf3-3.chd? Did you accidentally get the No CD version instead of sfiiia/sfiiij which is around 128KB? Edit: Subsequent boots pull a black screen issue but not a crash related to SaveRAM on this part.

The order is correct. The CHD is named correctly. sfiii is 129KB. Edit: Apparently it's incompatibility with the ROM Set, SFIII from the alleged 0.252 didn't work but one from 0.254 works. Now I'm just having a problem with KOF '98, it may be the same problem but neither versions from these two ROM Sets worked so far. I will keep looking to make sure it's not a problem with the emulator.
