My 1st TAS on Tasvideos

Darkman425: Claiming for judging.
Darkman425: Hello, KenYue_96, and welcome to TASVideos!
The goal of this submission was to beat the 40 Lines mode in the fastest in-game time, requiring a different strategy compared to the current 40 Lines publication. Going for an in-game time focused movie rather than shortening inputs with a glitch makes sense as its own category and shows off how the scoring in WonderSwan Tetris 40 Lines works.
Unfortunately, this old Niconico video from 2008 shows that it's possible to complete this mode in 5 seconds of in-game time, 2 seconds faster than this submission. The main difference is that the 2008 video has no wasted pieces. I recommend doing extra research on your game to see how far you can push your work to meet or beat that in-game time.
While this is a good first attempt, I'm unfortunately going to reject this for optimization issues.

This version of Tetris has a very weird scoring system with the "40 Lines" mode. https://tetris.wiki/Tetris_(WonderSwan_Color) The actual lines removed that isn't a single line doesn't correlate to the number of lines actually deducted. It gives a bonus deduction, with the back-to-back Tetris being the big bonus that removes 12 lines from the count. Why the game was designed like this is beyond me. EDIT: On that same Wiki page I found a TAS that clears the "40 Lines" mode in 0:05 according to in-game time. Link to video
