No idea if Kuri Kinton (Japan) kurikintj is faster in gameplay than Kuri Kinton (World) kurikint or whenever this movie is optimized, but regardless, it probably needs an extended input movie due to the high score screen (EDIT: https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638229747130497198 like this one). No idea how optimized they need to be...

Found a speedrun with commentary here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPMWYs8cSnw. The main character powers up 1x at base, 1.25, 1.5, then 1.75 at that light blue colored aura. He powers up when he is stationary and not moving and loses power as he is hit. The jumping looks kind of weird like if you jump and fall too much you fall straight down with no horizontal movement too. For one boss the commentary was mentioning about looking out for the red and white marks for damage, but have no idea what that even means since I noticed nothing visual changing so that confused me. The strategies in the tas seem consistently faster than that speedrun at least. No idea if they are optimal or not though since I did not see any noticeable damage glitches or clips like I would kind of expect in a jank game like this so probably some undiscovered stuff here. Going with a tentative Yes vote here.
