The Wii U virtual console releases of the series all use modded roms that give the player all unobtainable chips (opposite version+event only) just by accessing the communications menu. These are generally stupidly OP for early-mid game (even late if you can consistently manipulate them to appear). Thoughts on using them? I'm guessing it would only be acceptable to use this for a 100% run that obtains them after the credit roll or when they're the last thing needed.

a new clip for bn5 was found, it uses unlocker in pmd next to some southcorners, like oran1 pmd and acdc2 pmd, they both can be used to clip( oran1 is japanese exclusive but super easy),also there's a lot of wrong warp and debug mode testing nowadays here goes a run that uses the warp glitch and some others: https://www.speedrun.com/mmbn5/run/yl0o4l2y it doesnt use the clip though also another glitch that could be used for factory comp, small skips TAS only: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmDzJvm7Mbg There's also this clip in exe1, which didn't help much with sequence breaking: Dalus explanation: "so if you finish the first comp, go to the next area, and talk to the 3 panicked people, then to colorman's operator, if you oob, exit the area from behind, the cutscene with mayl's phone call wont trigger, but you can still jack into the traffic lights so... i got nothing i was able to do comp2, but that's about it then i moved on and i triggered the phone call regardless you cannot skip comp 2 to go to 3 or anything cause it wont let you the only thing you get out of this is to trigger the phonecall later, and instead of having panic music, you are stuck with the "tension" one" END OF DALUS EXPLANATION
I want all good TAS inside TASvideos, it's my motto. TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.

the newest BN1 record uses this: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pR5k-aZRlZxdXYpNK3FMGw9XJBn2V6KC/view?usp=sharing the new glitch found by TeamBN members is the exploit of a flag shared mutually by the end game cutscene and these flame objects, you douse the right flame, jack out and go back to town to beat the game. You have to douse the YES fire and don't interact with the other.

hey all, sorry to bump an old thread but i recently bought the legacy collection for the switch, and while grinding navi encounters in mmbn2 i noticed that movement on slopes appears to be faster if you DON'T hold the run button has this been previously noticed anywhere else in the thread, and is it just placebo? it doesn't seem to be mentioned in the published movie's notes, at the very least
