Paca Paca Passion (パカパカパッション) is a rhythm game developed and published by Produce! for Japanese arcades in 1998, and was later ported to the Sony PlayStation in 1999, and it is the first game in the series by the same name. In the game, you choose from one of four members of the band: A keyboard and brass-playing bunny girl named Purika, a blue-haired guitarist named Coke, the sun-loving pianist named Miruka, or the afroed drumming robot named Geroppa, and battle against one of your bandmates to see who can jam better.
In this run, R7CrazyCanucks plays through the Special mode of the game where you play through a selection of 5 songs, along with two hidden songs that are accessible by accumulating a high enough score. The songs in the Special mode are a little harder to play compared to the songs in the Standard mode. He plays as Geroppa and plays through the songs flawlessly by hitting every single note perfectly which normally requires a lot of precision. He gets a high score of 2,596,800 points, and 100% on seven out of the ten songs in the game.
In the song "Lips XTC", there's a random bug where the game will crash after the song ends. He avoided this by delaying the last START button input on the character selection screen by a few frames to change the character for the CPU player.

It's worth noting that the cancelled submission should be considered as extended input from the author. Admittedly this is actually a rhythm game title I don't have any knowledge on, but with how the author was showcasing their work on the Discord this might be well made. Branch suggestion for the Judge (with the lack of knowledge I have) is that it should be re-branched as "special mode". Obviously validate capitalization.

https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638571196073428384 This userfile doesn't have the rankings screen/extended inputs and is faster. https://tasvideos.org/UserFiles/Info/638571196706768804 This one shows the rankings screen. The cancelled submission you can probably delete. I kinda messed up the bk2 export for that one because I didn't realize the TAS movie is supposed to end on the next empty frame after the last input, and it's also missing the cycle count. The bk2 file in this comment is fixed.

If you provide an encode people would be able to more easily provide feedback for your tas.

I would do that, but my computer barely has enough space to fully encode the entire half-hour TAS into an MP4 or AVI. This run may as well be called "maximum score" since I played it on the hard difficulties. I may plan a quicker strategy for completing the special mode in just 5 songs instead of 7.

I have successfully synced the run. Temp Encode: Link to video The game has quite appealing music and the robot is funny. It's typical Japanese dancing game when you push buttons at right time to gain score. It's more fun to listen to it, rather than watch it. Voting No, sorry
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.
