Hello, everyone! This is my first TAS. So, if I'm missing anything, let me know.
Anyways, ".ico" is a Flash micro "escape the room" game created by Uchigawa. This was one of the first games I looked into TASing because of how short it is and this would get me used to using libTAS.
Routing: This game is very trivial once you solve the code:
  • Right, right
  • Combination Code: 582
  • Lever pulled down
  • Go back
  • Right, right (again)
  • Leave the room and beat the game
All of this is done every other frame to be as fast as possible.
Other Information:
  • MD5: 49e97a3cc59efdba034c7268e476ded3
  • Most likely to desync if "--no-gui" is used. (It did for me)
  • The game has no sound
Final Comments: Shoutout to Spikestuff for sparking motivation in me to start TASing from their Ichima's room TASes.

eien86: Claiming for judging.

eien86: Replacing movie with one provided by Spike made with Ruffle nigthly 2024-09-06. The author has agreed to add them to as co-author.

eien86: Short and small puzzle game. This movie beats is in the blink of an eye. Not much more to explain.
fsvgm777: Processing.

I'm not sure if this is a problem on my end, but the movie file you put has no inputs

Using a version with the same md5 hash as you and I'm not using the --no-gui line

Crap, I guess I'll wait for someone else to see if they have the same issue. Sorry about that.

Frame Improvement by entering game a frame sooner. Input now works under --no-gui, so it was actually input redone from scratch. Requesting Co-Auth. Ruffle pushed forward to 2024-09-06. Also those issues Mike was having in viewing the input wasn't happening for me. Encode for the newer version of the input: Link to video Heh, it's a YouTube Short.

I'm experiencing the same issues. I can clearly see there are inputs but the game doesn't react. It seems the window renders strangely on my end (bigger than what one may expect). Never mind, made it work -
