eien86: A Japanese RPG involving a cast of characters with HP and MP points that increase during gameplay. As much as I could understand, this seems pretty optimized with nice RNG manip. There seems to be an optional part of the game which the author decides to go through to get the best ending. This is perfectly acceptable as default goal. Any movie with a BADEND goal should be its own goal.
