About half a year late with posting it, but here's my TAS for Elden Ring, in the Any% Zips category: Link to video The goal of the category is to beat the game and reach the credits as fast as possible, with the difference of this sub-category being that you are allowed to make use of the (normally banned) "zip" and "force-quit wrong warp" glitches. The combination of these, together with playing on an old game version (v1.04.1) that allows you to kill enemies by deloading geometry from a distance, results in the ability to skip the majority of the game and therefore get a final time of under 3 minutes for a game of this size. The TAS was created using SoulsTAS, which are TAS tools I made for various fromsoftware games: https://github.com/Vinjul1704/SoulsTAS You can find the scripts for the run here: https://github.com/Vinjul1704/er-tas-v2 Extra info: - Zips: https://soulsspeedruns.com/eldenring/zipping - Wrong warps: https://soulsspeedruns.com/eldenring/wrong-warp

Did you intend this to be a proper submission to the site?

I'd like to submit it at some point and asked about that on the Discord server, however I was told a parser needs to be made first, since this uses custom tools. I plan to look into working on one in the (hopefully somewhat) near future.

Is there a commentary or notes about how these zips and warps are done?

I included links to those 2 glitches in the post, but if you are curious about a more detailed explanation about the route in general and where/why stuff is done, catalystz made a good breakdown of my first/old TAS of the game: Link to video Keep in mind that first TAS was done with basic macros instead of proper TAS tools, so it's not as perfect and the route is slightly different, but the overall ideas and concepts are still relevant.
